Dental implants are a proven way to restore function, balance and beauty to your smile.

Plus, the best part is they look, act and feel just like your natural teeth! This treatment is an alternative to traditional dentures, partials, or bridges, which require ongoing maintenance. Dr. Pires uses the most recent and advanced dental implant technology to not only deliver the beautiful results you want but to minimize recovery time, as well.

Multiple & Full Implants

Benefits of a fixed bridge on implants
When all or multiple teeth are missing or in such condition that they need to be replaced, a fixed bridge anchored to dental implants is the best permanent solution

Before dental implants, there were no fixed solution available for people who lost all their teeth. Today, it is possible to replace a full jaw with dental implants and a fixed bridge that results in a more permanent, stable and high esthetic solution.

  • Lets you eat and function like having natural teeth

  • A solid, stable solution that may serve you for life

  • Preserves your facial appearance and prevents bone loss

Single Implant

Benefits of an all-ceramic crown on implant
When both the tooth and root are damaged, the best permanent replacement is a dental implant in conjunction with a ceramic crown. This solution both looks and functions just like a natural tooth.

In this case, a so-called one-piece implant is used. This means that all components are installed as a single unit, resulting in immediately full functioning teeth, shorter treatment time and minimized pain.

  • Immediately functioning teeth

  • Excellent esthetic result

  • Stable solution

Q & A

Let’s address some common questions and concerns

Q: How do you place a Dental Implant?

A: The procedure requires a titanium root be fitted in order to replace the lost tooth's root. Once the implant is anchored, the bone around the implant requires six weeks to six months of healing. Once the bone has healed, a beautiful custom tooth is placed.

Q: How long does it take to heal?

A: Typically three months however there are some rare occasions where more time is required.

Q:  Am I too old for a dental implant?

A: No. Any person at any age can have dental implants.

Q:  Is the procedure painful?

A: No. An effective local anesthetic is used during the surgery so that you do not have any discomfort during the placement of the implants.  Any mild discomfort you might experience after surgery can be addressed with gentle medications.
