Dr. Carlos Pires
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, he received his dental degree in 1997 from the Universidade São Francisco School of Dental Medicine in Brazil. He is a Specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery by Santa Casa de Misericordia Hospital (Piracicaba, Brazil). Dr. Pires has a Master degree in Oral Implantology from Universidade São Leopoldo Mandic (Campinas, Brazil) and another Master degree in Periodontology from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH). Prior to attending Case Western Dr. Pires attended three years at University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI) as a Postgraduate Student in the Department of Orthodontics (one year) and as an International Scholarship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (two years).
